As a trauma therapist, I help individuals heal from painful experiences and reconnect with their inner strength. My approach is compassionate, grounded, and tailored to your unique journey. I also bring a variety of clinical skills and approaches to help us get to the root of your problems, while managing symptoms.

Trauma Informed + Attachment Focused

I take a trauma-informed approach that’s grounded in understanding how past experiences can affect your nervous system, your relationships, and your overall sense of safety. Trauma can make it hard to feel in control, stay regulated, or trust others—and that’s not a flaw, it’s a response to what you’ve been through. I’m here to create a space that feels safe, consistent, and supportive, where we can explore your story at your pace. I’ll help you understand your responses not as “bad” or broken, but as survival strategies that made sense at the time.

A big part of this process includes looking at your attachment patterns—how your early relationships shaped the way you connect with others and with yourself. Together, we’ll gently explore how those patterns may still be playing out today, and work toward building more secure, grounded, and fulfilling ways of relating—both in your relationships and yourself.

Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)

I am an EMDR trained therapist and I incorporate elements of this powerful approach to help clients process and release the emotional impact of past experiences. EMDR isn’t just about eye movements—it’s a comprehensive framework that supports healing by accessing the brain’s natural ability to integrate and resolve trauma in raw form. Whether we’re using formal EMDR protocols or drawing from its core principles—like resourcing or targeting stuck beliefs—I weave these tools into our work in a way that feels organic and grounded in your needs.

Somatic Psychotherapy

In my trauma-informed practice, I integrate somatic work to help clients reconnect with the wisdom of their bodies. Trauma often lives not just in our thoughts, but in our nervous systems—in the tension we carry, the patterns of disconnection, and the ways we’ve learned to protect ourselves. Through gentle body-based awareness, grounding techniques, and attention to sensation, I support clients in tuning into their internal experience with curiosity and care. Somatic work allows us to access deeper layers of healing, helping you feel more regulated, present, and connected to yourself in a safe, supported way.
